Po sv. om\u0161i bol premietnut\u00fd dokument\u00e1rny film o P. Mat\u00fa\u0161ovi (autor: Michal Hirko) a odzneli viacer\u00e9 spomienky na neho.<br>\n      P. Mat\u00fa\u0161 Karol Van\u010dek sa narodil 20. 5. 1927 vo vinohradn\u00edckej rodine vo Vinosadoch. Po kr\u00e1tkom pobyte v kl\u00e1\u0161tore petr\u00ednov v Brunt\u00e1li napokon K. Van\u010dek 20. 1. 1949 vst\u00fapil do novici\u00e1tu men\u0161\u00edch bratov kapuc\u00ednov v Pezinku v\u010faka duchovn\u00e9mu vedeniu zo strany kapuc\u00edna P. Angelusa Sen\u00e1\u0161iho. O rok nast\u00fapil na filozofick\u00e9 \u0161t\u00fadi\u00e1 do Bratislavy, odkia\u013e bol v noci z 3. na 4. m\u00e1ja 1950 vyvezen\u00fd do centraliza\u010dn\u00e9ho kl\u00e1\u0161tora v Kostolnej a na stavbu Priehrady ml\u00e1de\u017ee. V septembri bol povolan\u00fd do Pomocn\u00fdch technick\u00fdch pr\u00e1porov v Svatej Dobrotivej, Stra\u0161iciach, Kladne a v Jinoniciach, odkia\u013e bol 31. 12. 1953 prepusten\u00fd do civilu. V civilnom zamestnan\u00ed vykon\u00e1val stavebn\u00e9 pr\u00e1ce, nesk\u00f4r sa zamestnal v \u0160tatistickom vydavate\u013estve tla\u010d\u00edv a vo Vin\u00e1rskych z\u00e1vodoch. Na\u010falej udr\u017eiaval kontakty so spolubratmi, pokra\u010doval v reho\u013enom \u017eivote a 4. 10. 1954 zlo\u017eil ve\u010dn\u00e9 s\u013euby. Preto bol 26. 4. 1961 zatknut\u00fd a po vy\u0161etrovan\u00ed na \u0160tB na Ulici febru\u00e1rov\u00e9ho v\u00ed\u0165azstva v Bratislave bol 25. 7. &#8211; 1. 8. 1961 ods\u00faden\u00fd na 6,5 roka v\u00e4zenia v prvom s\u00fadnom procese s kapuc\u00ednmi pod n\u00e1zvom Vojtech Rajner a spol. K. Van\u010dek sa proti rozsudku odvolal, ale Najvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed s\u00fad v Prahe 20. &#8211; 22. 9. 1961 trest nezmenil. V\u00fdkon trestu pre\u017eil vo v\u00e4znici vo Valdiciach, kde ako vin\u00e1r pom\u00e1hal zaobstar\u00e1van\u00edm v\u00edna pre uv\u00e4znen\u00fdch k\u0148azov a 15. 5. 1962 prijal k\u0148azsk\u00fa vysviacku. Po podmiene\u010dnom prepusten\u00ed 19. 1. 1964 nast\u00fapil do civiln\u00e9ho zamestnania op\u00e4\u0165 vo Vin\u00e1rskych z\u00e1vodoch v Bratislave a nesk\u00f4r v Ra\u010di. Do pastor\u00e1cie sa dostal a\u017e 15. 10. 1968. P\u00f4sobil ako kapl\u00e1n v \u0160oporni (1968), v Topo\u013e\u010danoch (1969), v Bratislave \u2013 Farnosti Najsv\u00e4tej\u0161ej Trojice (1971), ako administr\u00e1tor farnosti v Brodskom (1974), v Senici (1975) a v Horn\u00fdch Ore\u0161anoch (1977). Venoval sa pastor\u00e1cii vysoko\u0161kol\u00e1kov, sch\u00f4dzkam s tajn\u00fdmi spolubratmi kapuc\u00ednmi a na poslednom p\u00f4sobisku opravil kostol a faru. Od 15. 11. 2000 \u017eil na odpo\u010dinku v charitnom domove v Pezinku, kde 25. 3. 2004 zomrel.\n\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Peter
