Hlavn\u00fdm celebrantom sv. om\u0161e bol direktor salezi\u00e1nskeho domu v Galante \u2013 Hodoch don Jozef Gibala SDB. V hom\u00edlii don J\u00e1n Mal\u017eenick\u00fd SDB vyjadril v\u010fa\u010dnos\u0165 J. Mikesovi za sprostredkovanie tajnej k\u0148azskej vysviacky u biskupa J\u00e1na Chryzostoma Korca. Na z\u00e1ver sa prihovorila sestra J. Mikesa, pani Greculov\u00e1, ktor\u00e1 spomenula, \u017ee J. Mikes t\u00fa\u017eil by\u0165 k\u0148azom od detstva. Bolo jej smutno, ke\u010f rok po tragickej smrti J. Mikesa nastalo politick\u00e9 uvo\u013enenie, konala sa verejn\u00e1 procesia na sl\u00e1vnos\u0165 Bo\u017eieho Tela, jej brat sa toho nedo\u017eil a teda nemohol ma\u0165 ani verejn\u00e9 prim\u00edcie. \u010clenovia KPVS si z\u00e1rove\u0148 prezreli v\u00fdstavu o \u017eivote P. Emanuela Jozefa Cub\u00ednka OFM (sv\u00e4tojursk\u00e9ho far\u00e1ra, zavra\u017eden\u00e9ho 30.12.1965 na fare), in\u0161talovan\u00fa v kostole. Don J\u00e1n Mikes bol ako bohoslovec v noci z 13. na 14. apr\u00edla 1950 vyvezen\u00fd zo salezi\u00e1nskeho \u00fastavu v \u017diari nad Hronom do centraliza\u010dn\u00fdch kl\u00e1\u0161torov v \u0160a\u0161t\u00edne a v Podol\u00ednci a do pre\u0161ko\u013eovacieho kl\u00e1\u0161tora v Pezinku. D\u0148a 5. 9. 1950 narukoval do Pomocn\u00fdch technick\u00fdch pr\u00e1porov: Svat\u00e1 Dobrotiv\u00e1, Stra\u0161ice, Kladno, Kol\u00edn a Praha. Po\u010das dovolenky ho biskup Pavol Hnilica SJ tajne vysv\u00e4til za k\u0148aza 4. 3. 1951 v Bratislave. Tajn\u00fa primi\u010dn\u00fa sv. om\u0161u sl\u00e1vil v dome rodi\u010dov. Po skon\u010den\u00ed 40-mesa\u010dnej vojenskej slu\u017eby sa zamestnal ako technik v \u017delezni\u010dnom stavite\u013estve v Bratislave. Popritom tajne pracoval s ml\u00e1de\u017eou, za \u010do bol 29. 6. 1956 ods\u00faden\u00fd na 1 a 1 roka. N\u00e1sledkom v\u00e4zenia mu celkom zo\u0161ediveli vlasy. Po prepusten\u00ed z Vald\u00edc sa vr\u00e1til do civiln\u00e9ho zamestnania, kv\u00f4li ktor\u00e9mu \u0161tudoval strojn\u00edcku priemyslovku s maturitou. Na\u010falej tajne duchovne viedol ml\u00e1de\u017e \u2013 od u\u010d\u0148ov po vysoko\u0161kol\u00e1kov. Na maturitn\u00e9 sk\u00fa\u0161ky sa so spolu\u017eiakmi pripravoval pri jazer\u00e1ch v Senci, kde sa 26. 6. 1967 utopil. A\u017e na pohrebe bolo zverejnen\u00e9, \u017ee J.
